As part of this group, you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments, with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day.

Description

As a member of the team you’ll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling software feature development delivering Apple Intelligence to customers. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle challenges.

Responsibilities

Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition
Implementing Swift frameworks that adhere to defined API contracts
Collaborating with our product cross-functional teams

Building internal engineering tools as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of experience with Swift programming, ObjC is a plus
Expertise in working with Concurrency primitives
Experience with Performance Profiling, Memory and Optimization techniques
Understanding of client/server architectures
Proficiency with SDK APIs, Apple Developer Tools (Xcode, Instruments)
Comfort with large codebases and practical solutions
Knowledge of software patterns that allow for testing
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a team

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
