Description

This is an outstanding Hardware Design Engineer position with a focus on new product integration and development of new technologies for rigid, flex, and substrate PCB designs across iPhone products under close collaboration with key cross functional partners in San Diego.

Responsibilities

Own the design, integration, and validation of main logic boards and system flex circuits. Perform component fit/routing layout studies, and influence overall system-level solutions that meet product goals and push the boundaries of technology.
Develop technology solutions at the PCB/module level that enable various product goals in cost, thermal performance, battery life, reliability, and environmental impact.
Collaborate with technology teams exploring process improvements and materials that enable reductions in routing density, power loss, coexistence, and insertion loss while keeping solution dimensions the same or smaller.

Pay & Benefits — San Diego, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,700 and $214,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
