SOHO team is responsible for sanction screening of supporting documentation for EMEA countries. The Sanction Screening Junior Analyst of Supporting Documentation is a role responsible for capturing and screening elements in documentation provided by Clients in line with regulations, and to act as an expert in process of screening supporting documentation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure transactions are processed efficiently
Handle ad-hock requests such as data analysis, preparation of reports etc.
Participation in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours
Cooperation and daily communication with other Citi branches globally
Extraction and classification of data from supplementary documentation in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
Disposition of sanction matches in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
Participate in projects and initiatives, take part in regular courses
Qualifications:
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
Understanding of sanction policies/regulations as well as being up to date with international relations and sanctions in general will be an advantage
A keen eye for detail combined with ability to read the context of a given document, analytical skills
Demonstrated capability to work effectively within a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
Ability to work under time pressure and in constantly changing environment
Readiness to work during public holidays
Russian or French language knowledge will be an additional asset
