Job Description – OneStream Team Lead (JL9)
Role Title: OneStream Team Lead (JL9)
Job Summary
As a OneStream Team Lead, you will drive the design, development, implementation, and support of OneStream solutions across Financial Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Analytics. You will lead functional and technical teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of scalable and sustainable OneStream applications.
The role requires strong expertise in OneStream architecture, finance transformation processes, solution design, and project delivery leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end OneStream implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
Act as the primary SME for OneStream Financial Consolidation, Close, Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting solutions.
Manage and mentor delivery teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.
Design and configure OneStream components including:
o Cubes
o Workflows
o Data Integration
o Transformation Rules
o Business Rules
o Dashboards
o Cube Views
o Reporting Solutions
Review technical designs and code developed by team members.
Drive architecture decisions, performance optimization, and solution governance.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams on key project decisions.
Identify process improvements and implementation accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency.
Support estimation, solutioning, proposal development, and practice-building initiatives.
Ensure successful execution of SIT, UAT, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have
Strong expertise in OneStream
Hands-on experience in:
o Financial Consolidation
o Planning and Budgeting
o Forecasting
o Management Reporting
Experience developing:
o Business Rules (VB.NET)
o Dashboards
o Cube Views
o Workflows
o Data Management Processes
o Transformation Rules
Experience with OneStream integrations and finance system connectivity.
Strong understanding of Finance and EPM processes.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
Good to Have
OneStream Certifications.
Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
Exposure to Cloud and SaaS deployment models.
Knowledge of Sensible AI, Account Reconciliations, People Planning, or ESG solutions.

Leadership Skills
Team management and mentoring experience.
Stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing global delivery teams.

Experience
Minimum 7+ years of overall EPM/CPM experience.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant OneStream experience.
Prior experience leading implementation or AMS teams.
