Purpose & Scope
The Aladdin Client Business partners with investors globally to help them modernize investment operations, strengthen risk management capabilities, and drive business transformation through the Aladdin platform. As a member of the Aladdin Business Development team, you will play a critical role in expanding Aladdin's presence across France and the Benelux region. By developing strategic relationships with leading asset managers, insurers, pension funds, banks, and alternative investors, you will help clients address complex investment and operational challenges while contributing directly to the continued growth of the Aladdin business in EMEA.
The successful candidate will bring deep industry expertise, an established network of senior decision-makers across institutional investors in France and the Benelux region, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of developing strategic relationships and delivering commercial outcomes within complex enterprise environments.
You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline across Aladdin and Aladdin Alternatives, executing the regional go-to-market strategy, and bringing client insights back to the business to help shape future product development. Success in this role requires a consultative approach, the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, and a commitment to building trusted, long-term partnerships across France and the Benelux region.
Responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow Aladdin and Aladdin Alternatives across France and the Benelux region while supporting broader EMEA growth objectives.
- Manage complex sales cycles end-to-end, including opportunity identification, due diligence, negotiation, and contracting.
- Partner closely with senior sales leadership to originate opportunities, support full-cycle sales execution, and unlock revenue opportunities across existing and prospective client relationships.
- Lead consultative conversations with senior stakeholders, clearly articulating Aladdin's strategic value proposition and business impact.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, prospects, and internal partners to support long-term commercial success and deliver a seamless client experience.
- Develop compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases that address client priorities and demonstrate measurable value.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to help inform product strategy and support the continued evolution of the Aladdin Client Business.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, enterprise sales, relationship management, or consultative sales within investment management, capital markets, risk management, or financial technology.
- Demonstrated success selling enterprise investment, risk management, or financial technology solutions to institutional investors and financial institutions.
- Proven track record of originating, managing, and closing complex enterprise technology opportunities.
- Established network of senior decision-makers across asset managers, insurers, pension funds, banks, and alternative investment firms in France and/or the Benelux region, with a demonstrated ability to originate and develop strategic commercial opportunities.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment workflows, and the challenges facing institutional investors; knowledge of insurance, private markets, and alternative assets is beneficial.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills with a strong commercial mindset.
- Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to effectively engage, influence, and present to senior stakeholders across France and the Benelux region
