Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with different stakeholders and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Blueprinting & Business Process Design
-Conduct requirement gathering workshops for inbound claims (dealers/customers) and outbound claims (vendors/suppliers).
-Analyze current business processes and map warranty claim lifecycles.
-Perform gap analysis between standard SAP Warranty Management (LO-WTY) functionality and client-specific requirements.
-Design end-to-end warranty management processes and recommend best practices.
-Configuration & System Setup
-Configure warranty master data, including equipment, functional locations, and serial number profiles.
-Define and maintain claim types and categories for inbound and outbound warranty claims.
-Configure Action Controls and status management workflows throughout the claim lifecycle.
-Set up pricing procedures for labor, parts, and sublet costs using SAP Condition Technique.
-Develop and maintain Validation, Substitution, and Check (VSR) rules to automate claim validation and processing.
-Support integration and testing activities across related SAP modules.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

-Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
-SAP Functional Expertise
-Strong hands-on experience in SAP Warranty Management (LO-WTY) -configuration and support.
-In-depth knowledge of warranty claim processing, settlement, validation, and lifecycle management.
-Experience designing warranty business processes for manufacturing, automotive, or service organizations.
-Cross-Functional SAP Knowledge
Working knowledge of:

-SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
-SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
-SAP MM (Materials Management)
-SAP FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)

-Knowledge of Customer Management and Service Contract integration in S/4HANA.
-Understanding of warranty-related integrations within the S/4HANA ecosystem.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Vehicle Management for Automotive.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
