Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Amazon Registries helps customers prepare for and celebrate the moments that define their lives — a new baby, a wedding, a first home, a milestone birthday. We are the #1 registry in the U.S. for both wedding and baby, serving millions of customers during their most joyous milestones. We build the experiences across Baby Registry, Wedding Registry, and Gift List that connect customers with the products they need and the people who want to celebrate with them. Our product and tech teams sit together and work hand in hand, meaning you'll move fast, see your ideas come to life quickly, and feel the impact of your work in real time. Our roadmap spans personalized discovery, AI-driven recommendations, and expansion into new occasions — with the goal of making Amazon the place customers turn to for every major life event.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to own and drive critical components of the Amazon Registries customer experience. You will define product strategy, set the vision and roadmap, and deliver results that directly impact millions of customers celebrating life's biggest moments.

Key job responsibilities
• Own a product area end-to-end: from identifying customer problems, through defining strategy and roadmap, to launch and measuring outcomes
• Define and drive the product vision and multi-year roadmap for your area, aligning with Registries' broader strategy
• Write clear, compelling product requirements (PRFAQs, BRDs, technical specs) that translate customer needs into actionable plans for engineering
• Partner deeply with engineering, design, and science teams to deliver innovative, technically sound solutions
• Use data, customer research, and experimentation to inform decisions, prioritize ruthlessly, and measure impact
• Influence senior leadership through written narratives and verbal communication; drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders
• Identify and size new opportunities across discovery, personalization, gifting, and occasion expansion
• Define success metrics, set goals, and hold yourself and the team accountable to outcomes over outputs
• Operate with a bias for action in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where product and engineering work side by side
