Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented products counseling attorney to support our Amazon Web Services (AWS) healthcare and life sciences development teams. In this role, you will work directly with the business team to develop AWS AI products and services at the intersection of emerging agentic technology and the future of healthcare. Your role will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including public policy, privacy, marketing and go-to-market teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal support for Healthcare and Life Sciences AI and other AI-related clinical and product efforts.
- Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Drafting and negotiating commercial licensing agreements

About the team
AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, artificial intelligence and machine learning, agentic AI and more.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience navigating regulatory frameworks
- Experience counseling product and engineering teams
- Experience drafting and negotiating agreements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
