About Product Strategy 

We are growing the Product Strategy Platform in Budapest for our Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions franchise that plays a central role in offering clients and prospects connectivity to and information on the investment process ensuring a best in class client experience. This team is responsible for a wide range of activities, including but not limited to maintaining fund data and analytics as well as production of marketing collateral and client reports. We seek an Analyst to join the MASS team. 

Introduction to Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions Group 

BlackRock's Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem. MASS draws on the full toolkit of BlackRock's index, factor, and alpha-seeking investment capabilities to deliver precise investment outcomes and cutting-edge alpha insights. MASS constructs active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios, and outsourcing solutions in the wealth and institutional channels. Our team of over 625 multi-asset investment professionals manages over $1 trillion in assets and operates across 31 offices in 18 countries worldwide.   

Key Responsibilities 

  • Closely follow global markets and be up to date on events and movements 
  • Perform analyses to help position funds/strategies 
  • Prepare and maintain product pitchbooks, portfolio review decks and other marketing collateral, ensuring these meet compliance practices 
  • Assist Portfolio Managers and senior Product Strategists with complex ad-hoc requests 
  • Update DDQs and RFPs with product and strategy level information 
  • Support and investigate technology and process options to scale and automate routine client service activities using Python/BlackRock technology 
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and other structural trends and ensure that both new and existing products comply with regulatory requirements 
  • Be part of a truly global team and work with colleagues in New York and London daily 
  • Liaise with other team members across Budapest Product Strategy and help establish a culture of excellence within the group 
  • Give short presentations at internal meetings, events

You should have: 

  • BA/BS required with degrees in quantitative, finance or economics disciplines preferred 
  • Desire to learn more about the Investment Management industry 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; additional European languages are a plus 
  • Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency around deadlines and an ability to multitask 
  • High proficiency in Excel, with ability to manipulate data in a spreadsheet (knowledge of macros is a plus) and PowerPoint, with ability to create appealing slides for clients/investors 
  • Strong data management and manipulation skills; Experience with Python or other coding languages 
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude supported by the ability to effectively combine outputs from different sources of technology/systems 
  • Keen interest in global financial markets; be up to date on macro events and market trends 
  • A desire to pursue CFA, FRM and/or CAIA is welcome 
The salary range for Hungary is 9785000 - 13400000 HUF

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
