The watchOS QA team is seeking a **QA Engineer** to help ensure our Watch experience is rock-solid and customer-focused. We're looking for critical thinkers who want to play a key role in qualifying Watch System Experiences and the frameworks that support them. We practice nimble, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Engineering and QA.

Description

In this position, you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Day-to-day tasks will involve functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a focus on Watch System Experiences. Responsibilities include design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, cross-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
Execute various types of testing including functional, regression, and performance testing
Document and track issues using appropriate tools
Collaborate closely with development teams
Monitor quality metrics throughout the product development lifecycle
Identify and escalate critical issues to ensure timely resolution

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA.

Pay & Benefits — San Diego, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,800 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. The base pay range for this role is between $120,900 and $249,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
