You will work closely with platform teams, data owners, and business stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data quality frameworks

  • Defining and implementing data quality rules, checks, and reports in data quality tools

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to embed data quality standards into daily operations

  • Communicating data quality concepts, issues, and results clearly to business and technical audiences

Imagine working on projects like:

  • Building Trusted Data for AI & Analytics – You help banks and insurance companies ensure that critical business decisions are based on reliable data. You design automated quality checks, identify data issues before they reach users, and create transparency across complex data landscapes.

  • Data Quality Automation on Modern Data Platforms – You work with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery to embed data quality directly into data pipelines. By combining automation and AI-based methods, you help organizations detect anomalies faster and reduce manual effort.

What matters to us

  • Completed university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field; candidates with an interdisciplinary background (e.g. business combined with technology, digital transformation, payments, or financial services) are also welcome

  • 3 + years of relevant professional experience, ideally in financial services, consulting, banking, payments, fintech, or a related financial environment

  • Experience with data quality management, including designing and implementing data quality frameworks, rules, and tooling

  • Hands-on experience working within modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar), including building and maintaining data quality pipelines and integrations

  • Proven experience defining data quality rules, KPIs/metrics, and designing quality reporting dashboards from scratch or expanding existing ones

  • Experience using German at B2-C1 level and English at C1 level in a professional environment

What will help you stand out
