Come and join the Time & Pay Innovation team within Workforce Solutions Org. We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer who is adaptable to support various Oracle databases and PostgreSQL on AuroraDB deployed in multiple environments globally. The scale and growth of the databases we support provide continued opportunities to tackle new and challenging problems.
This team supports the Oracle databases used with third party products, including Oracle PeopleSoft and UKG WorkForce Central, and PostgreSQL databases that enable Amazon to manage time and attendance and related human resource needs. You are expected to hit the ground running, and continue to learn and grow your skillset to handle complex issues that arise from such large scale Oracle database installations, that are growing at a record pace.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment- Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes to ensure they meet the standards for maintainability, scalability and security

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
