The Kindle Finance & Accounting Tech Engineering team is responsible for providing accurate and timely royalty calculations and accounting entries for all Kindle and print-on-demand book sales. Publishers and authors of all shapes and sizes rely on Amazon to correctly account for all book sales so that they are paid correctly.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, You will work closely with product managers, software development teams, and business teams to understand the domain and ensure that the design meet the requirements. You will need to be able to articulate technology choices and decisions to a diverse group and be able to influence them. In all, this role is an exciting mix of solid technical complexity, partnering with the business team, and delivery excellence. You will be ably supported by a team of engineers, product manager, program manager and senior leaders. There will be leadership growth opportunity.
Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail-driven, excellent program management capabilities, and have excellent problem solving abilities. You should not only be passionate about delivering effective, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship. This is a high impact position that will directly contribute to customer satisfaction in an area of incredible growth.
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
