We are looking for a talented attorney to join the Amazon Health Services legal team. This role is a dynamic mix of transactional work, product counseling, compliance and regulatory advising. You will support foundational technology efforts, new business initiatives, and customer-facing products and services. In this role, you will take on diverse responsibilities including negotiating deals, advising on regulatory strategies, looking around corners to identify and mitigate critical legal and reputational risks, and developing mechanisms that allow our builder teams to move quickly and confidently.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life
You will collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, technology, compliance, risk and healthcare teams, diving into complex legal challenges that demand creative problem-solving. Expect to engage in strategic discussions about new product launches, analyze emerging regulatory developments, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and develop innovative compliance frameworks that enable our teams to move quickly and confidently. You will balance multiple workstreams—from advising on AI-enabled workflows to reviewing a vendor agreement to counseling on state-specific regulatory requirements—all in service of our mission to make healthcare dramatically easier for customers.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
