Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Associate in the M&A team, the candidate will be involved in the full transaction lifecycle, including: · Preparation of marketing materials (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations) and participation in deal pitches · Development of financial models with minimum supervision for valuation of equity for M&A and capital-raising transactions · Conducting industry, company and product-specific research across sectors · Performing preliminary investment analysis on cross-industry opportunities · Assisting with end-to-end deal execution, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders · Liaising with clients when required and maintaining ongoing client relationships · Developing relationships with PwC global network teams · Supervising and coaching junior colleagues

Knowledge, experience and qualifications:

  • University degree in business field with (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of 4.0
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, valuation, or investment banking
  • Demonstrated track record of involvement in executed M&A or capital markets transactions
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills across sectors
  • CFA / ACCA candidacy or membership is an advantage
  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint; experience with transaction databases is a plus
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Russian

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-structuring, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Strong corporate finance fundamentals with the ability to apply valuation and financial analysis outputs in deal discussions and decision-making
  • Ability to solve complex problems under time pressure, including in unfamiliar or new subject areas
  • Ability to take ownership of workstreams, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate junior team members
  • High level of personal responsibility, commitment, and accountability for output quality
  • Well-developed organizational skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable execution style
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, including overtime when required
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and professional conduct
