The Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Centre of Excellence (CoE) under Risk Services supports organisations in managing sustainability-related risks, regulatory requirements, and ESG reporting obligations. The team works at the intersection of risk advisory, consulting, and assurance, helping clients navigate the evolving ESG landscape and create long-term sustainable value.

What You'll Do

As an ESG CoE Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of sustainability and ESG-related projects, including:

ESG Reporting & Disclosures

  • Support the preparation and review of sustainability reports and ESG-related disclosures.

  • Assist in benchmarking ESG reporting against global reporting frameworks and standards.

  • Conduct research on emerging ESG trends, reporting requirements, and sustainability best practices.

Regulatory & Compliance Advisory

  • Assist teams in helping clients comply with ESG-related regulatory requirements and sustainability reporting obligations.

  • Support research and analysis on sustainability regulations, Bursa Malaysia requirements, and climate-related disclosure developments.

  • Prepare documentation, presentations, and reports for client engagements.

ESG Risk Assessment

  • Support project teams in identifying and assessing ESG-related risks, including climate-related, environmental, social, and governance risks.

  • Assist with risk assessments, data gathering, and stakeholder analysis.

  • Contribute to the development of recommendations to help organisations strengthen their ESG risk management practices.

ESG Data & Analytics

  • Assist in the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG-related data, including emissions, workforce, and sustainability metrics.

  • Support the development of dashboards, data visualisations, and reporting tools.

  • Help identify insights from ESG data to support client reporting and decision-making.
