As a TIPM, you will be a key member of tech leadership and will need to drive forward the technology across Whole Foods Market to create a best in class grocery shopping experience.
In the TIPM role, you will be responsible for planning and leading the physical deployment efforts for medium to large projects that span multiple technology and operational teams, and third-party OEM and Field Service partners. These projects will include initiatives such as rolling out new technology to existing stores and leading efforts to develop and implement creative solutions, leading POS/SCO image engineering as well as network, media, printer and service scale efforts.
The incumbent in this role will have strong business acumen, technical skills, great communication abilities, and a passion to implement new technologies to help our banners thrive at delivering the highest customer obsession.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with Business and Retail Technology partners to select, plan, and deploy physical technology to existing stores.
- Create and manage work-back plans, hour by hour plans, and T- plans as needed.
- Manage and track purchasing, and track and report on spending actuals.
- Work with procurement, legal, and OEM partners to define and manage project-specific purchasing agreements and field services scopes of work (SOW).
- Plan and manage deployments including establishing hyper-care and transition to support plans for deployments that will range from small pilots, to full-chain deployments.
- Maintain solid communications with Store Operations, Store Leadership, and Tech partners.
- Establish and maintain regular reporting of key metrics and deployment status.
- Partner with Engineers and Tech Support to resolve technical issues, driving the team to resolution.

The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will partner with our Retail Technology teams to help them evaluate new technology, develop strategies, requirements, project plans, communication plans, transition plans, and lead the deployment of the new technology to our physical stores.

The Retail Infrastructure Services, Hardware Deployment team is a team of program managers who are dedicated to bringing the best customer experience to both our internal and external customers, and excited to accomplish that through implementing new technology in our physical stores.
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
