Job Description

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading all aspects of a project. This includes initial client discussions, developing project requirements, documentation, and coordinating all project activities through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery of all technical and service aspects for client projects.
  • Determine and assess study requirements.
  • Maintain continuous communication with internal departments and external customers.
  • Initiate involvement of relevant departments to ensure high-quality work.
  • Attend and represent the business at Project Meetings and kick-off meetings.
  • Facilitate customer teleconferences, visits, and audits.
  • Drive Problem Reports to closure with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel.
  • Translate customer needs into quotations and monitor budgets.
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Verify final production information for Accounting before invoice release.
  • Participate in business process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with the account manager to guarantee customer happiness.
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Understand and use SOPs required by company quality standards.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer management skills.
  • Knowledge of internal systems associated with projects.

Experience required of/in:

  • Accredited degree, preferably in a health-related field.
  • 3 years of successful clinical trial project management experience.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical trials.
  • Effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications.
  • Proven experience with customers in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Proficiency in fundamental Project Management concepts.

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a cold environment on occasion.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
  • 10-25% travel as needed.
