DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Client Services Project Manager III and make a meaningful impact on global healthcare. You'll independently manage a portfolio of moderate to strategic client projects, leading end-to-end delivery of technical and service aspects while developing effective solutions for optimal outcomes. As part of our collaborative team, you'll serve as the key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent project execution from initial discussions through completion. This role offers the opportunity to shape client strategy, improve processes, and support team members while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience from a client-facing, customer support, sales support, order management, customer operations, or project coordination role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in customer service, sales support, customer operations, order management, project coordination, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience working with purchase orders, forecasts, shipments, documentation, customer portals, complaints, deviations, or issue resolution is beneficial.

  • Good understanding of how customer follow-up, order execution, and delivery performance impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and service levels.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers, Business Development Managers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to coordinate across functions such as Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Technical Support, and Quality.

  • Structured and detail-oriented approach, with strong follow-up, ownership, and time management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues, escalate when needed, and support effective resolution.

  • Experience using relevant business systems such as ERP, Salesforce, customer portals, MS Office, and project or case management tools is beneficial.

  • Experience from life sciences, diagnostics, IVD, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or another regulated industry is an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of quality processes, documentation requirements, GMP/GxP, or quality management systems is beneficial.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organization.

  • Ability to contribute to process improvements and support consistent customer-related workflows.

  • English required; Norwegian or other foreign language skills are beneficial.
