Job Description

As part of the QC team, you will perform quality control testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products, as well as release of products that meet our high quality standards. You will work with a broad range of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment and collaborate closely with colleagues across Quality, Production and other functions.


The team is also involved in improvement and development activities, including digitalisation and scale-up projects.


Our products are used in breakthrough technologies, life-saving assays and clinical applications around the world. This makes quality critical at every stage of our production and control processes.


Our customers include leading pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies that rely on us as a trusted business partner. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Quality Control (QC) team in Lillestrøm, Norway. This role will greatly suit someone wanting to build a career within QC or Quality.

Responsibilities  

  • Perform QC testing of Dynabeads™ products according to established procedures, specifications and quality requirements
  • Use varying techniques such as HPLC, Coulter Counter and microscopy
  • Accurately document analysis results in accordance with applicable quality requirements
  • Review and verify analytical results produced by colleagues
  • Manage daily assigned samples and testing activities to ensure work is completed according to plan
  • Identify and report out-of-specification or unexpected results and support follow-up investigations according to protocol
  • Perform appropriate control testing and coordinate shipment of samples to external laboratories when required
  • Contribute to QC performance, productivity, KPI and digitalisation initiatives, with a strong focus on Right First Time (RFT)
  • Proactively develop your technical knowledge and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in bio engineering, chemistry or biochemistry
  • 2+ years' experience from a QC laboratory or a QC role in another regulatory environment
  • Hands-on laboratory experience and familiarity with LIMS
  • Fluency in Norwegian, written and spoken, and professional proficiency in English
  • Strong digital skills and an interest in using technology to improve laboratory processes
  • a strong quality mindset and attention to detail
  • structured and analytical, and ready to take ownership of your responsibilities
  • comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 is an advantage
