Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) is dedicated to solving one of the most complex challenges businesses face today: running supply chains that are resilient, cost-efficient, and capable of keeping pace with customer expectations across every channel. What we did for cloud computing with AWS, we are now doing for logistics: we built the infrastructure to serve our own customers and have now opened that network to power any business, across every mile, every channel, and every customer.

Within ASCS, Amazon Air Cargo and Amazon Freight are extending world-class transportation solutions to B2B customers — from air cargo services that deliver unparalleled speed and reliability, to freight solutions that offer shippers of all sizes access to Amazon's ground transportation network. Our growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit, unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.

We are seeking a driven, strategic, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy and execution across ACAR and Freight. In this role, you will define and drive the marketing and go-to-market strategy for current and future transportation solutions, develop compelling positioning and messaging, and enable cross-functional teams to drive shipper acquisition and revenue growth. You will work at both the strategic and tactical level — from the creation of plans to the brass tacks of execution.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires you to work hand in glove with Business Development, Product, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Pricing, Science, and the broader ASCS marketing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketer who thrives in ambiguity, excels in cross-functional influence and collaboration, and has the ability to think strategically while paying careful attention to detail.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Go-to-Market Strategy: Own end-to-end GTM planning and execution for ACAR and Freight product launches, feature rollouts, pricing programs, and service expansions that drive shipper acquisition, adoption, and revenue growth

- Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated product positioning and customer-facing messaging for air cargo and freight solutions across SMB and Enterprise segments

- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand shipper needs; use market and competitive intelligence to identify gaps, inform feature prioritization, and develop strategic options to strengthen our value proposition

- Sales & Partner Enablement: Equip sales, business development, and partner teams with the tools, content, training, and narratives needed to effectively communicate value and close deals — including one-pagers, solution briefs, battlecards, case studies, and presentations

- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Define and execute integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and partner channels; develop detailed segmentation, channel, and campaign strategies to drive awareness, education, and engagement with target audiences

- Cross-Sell & Portfolio Narrative: Partner with the broader ASCS PMM team to develop cross-sell narratives and ensure ACAR and Freight messaging ladders up to the unified ASCS portfolio story

- Performance & Optimization: Define KPIs, measurement plans, and "test and learn" frameworks for campaigns; track ROI and continuously optimize investments based on data and insights

- Executive Communication: Influence executive leaders through formal narratives and presentations; communicate customer feedback to Product and provide input on roadmap prioritization, pricing, and feature development

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead initiatives end-to-end in close collaboration with Business Development, Product, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Pricing, Science, and the broader marketing organization

Basic Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs or campaigns from concept to completion

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements and measure results

- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building, executing, and scaling B2B go-to-market programs in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries

- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting across SMB and Enterprise audiences

- Experience developing product positioning and messaging for complex, multi-feature B2B solutions

- Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

- Experience working with sales and business development teams to develop enablement materials and co-marketing strategies

- Experience managing partner marketing programs and co-marketing relationships

- Aviation, cargo, freight, or logistics industry knowledge preferred

- MBA or advanced degree preferred
