Role Overview

The Senior Accountant joins Harvey's Finance team to support the company's international accounting operations from the Dublin office. The team's mission is to ensure Harvey's financial records are accurate, compliant, and scalable as the company expands its global footprint. This role will drive core accounting workflows, month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory financial reporting for Harvey's international entities. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high-growth start-up, is detail-oriented, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. What You'll Do

  • Execute the monthly close to tight reporting deadlines under US GAAP for the Harvey AI international entities including journal entry processing

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations across all key international accounts

  • Prepare monthly / quarterly entity level flux analysis for the international entities

  • Oversee local statutory audit and reporting requirements including coordination with external auditors, preparation of bridge files between local and US GAAP financial accounts, audit support and technical documentation

  • Manage third party accounting service providers on daily and month end accounting operations

  • Prepare the monthly funding request for the international subsidiaries

  • Partner closely with US Corporate Accounting on accounting and reporting matters

  • Partner with the international payroll team on the preparation of payroll journals and reconciliations

  • Support the tax team on all international tax filings, payments and initiatives

  • Support the company’s global expansion initiatives including new entity set up and operationalization

  • Partner with cross functional teams on strategic projects

  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and increase efficiency as the international business scales

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement AI solutions to drive measurable process improvements across the team


What You Have

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent)

  • Big 4 audit training is preferable

  • 5+ years post qualification experience in high growth multinational environment

  • Demonstrated technical expertise and practical application of IFRS, FRS102, and US GAAP

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar cloud-based platforms preferred) as well as Excel/Google Sheets, and close management tools

  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is comfortable adapting to changing business requirements

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
