About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- You will promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- You will complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation

- You will maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
- You must be able to move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and without limitation, as well as perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head

From the moment your shift begins, you're on the floor — responding to equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping the operation running at full speed. You'll troubleshoot conveyors, motors, electrical systems, and automated equipment, using both your technical skills and your problem-solving instincts to minimize downtime and protect associate safety. Between reactive calls, you're executing planned PMs, completing work orders, and collaborating with operations to stay ahead of potential failures. Whether you're reading schematics, turning wrenches, or diving into a controls issue, every task you complete directly impacts the customer experience. RME is hands-on, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding — you leave every shift knowing your work kept the building moving.

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
