Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Do you get excited to drive programs, products and technology with a large impact and high business complexity? If yes — read on.

WW Ops's GOES-T Manage Capital organization owns a suite of products that manage Amazon's global capital investment portfolio, valued at over $20B annually, across Global Engineering Services, Global Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, and Global Procurement. The platform provides 10+ connected products that track capital projects (e.g. spends on construction of fulfillment centers) from initial planning through facility launch, across the full financial lifecycle — including cost estimation, CAR approvals, budget creation and monitoring, vendor purchase order issuance, payment application tracking, and change management. As of January 2026, ten's of billions of dollars have been planned and executed on Capital Systems with 400+ projects and 1000+ users onboarded. These capital projects, involving construction of new facilities, in turn help meet the retail demand for our external customers.

Our 4 investment themes are — (1) Increase Assets Under Management (Get Big) (2) Improve Controllership and Cost Savings through smarter spends (Get Fit) (3) Improve Productivity and SLAs (Get Fast) (4) Geo Expansion (Get Big).

This is a Program Manager role that owns the program mechanisms driving our headline Assets Under Management (AUM) goal — the #1 goal above. You will run the end-to-end program that onboards billions of dollars of capital spend onto Capital Systems: coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones, running adoption and onboarding campaigns, and giving leadership clear visibility into AUM progress across all customer workflows (Planning, Contracts, and Cost).

- Drive adoption, change-management and support campaigns to onboard 1000+ internal users, including the Convergence effort consolidating tools by mid-year.

- Program-manage the onboarding of billions of dollars of capital spend onto Capital Systems, coordinating onboarding and product delivery.

- Establish and run operating mechanisms (WBRs/MBRs, onboarding trackers, risk logs) that give leadership visibility into AUM progress and surface at-risk workstreams early.

- Partner with Finance, Capital Planning, Real Estate, Procurement, and the Capital Systems tech and product teams to align on program objectives and unblock dependencies.

- Make trade-offs to optimize timelines and deliverables, and communicate goals, roles, and outcomes clearly to all stakeholders.

- Use data and metrics to measure program success, run deep dives, and create executive-level reporting for senior leadership.
