The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.


The AWS Marketplace team is looking for a Data Engineer to play a key role in building insights from our large and ever-growing sets of partner and customer data. The Data Engineer will design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for analytics. Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes leveraging AWS technologies and data tools. Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources. Produce comprehensive, usable dataset documentation and metadata. Provides input and recommendations on technical issues.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
