Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Product Manager, Technical - Builder Productivity

Join the Builder Productivity team and be the thought leader in defining and driving a product that will transform how Amazon Advertising delivers features to customers. This is a high-impact role serving 5,000+ Ads engineers, at the center of a fundamental shift: moving from AI-assisted development (humans use AI tools for discrete tasks) to AI-native development (agents autonomously discover, design, code, test, and deploy, with humans as architects and validators).

Our mission is to make time-to-build and cost-to-operate 10x lower across Amazon Ads. You will own the product vision and end-to-end roadmap for AI-native orchestration systems that compress multi-team feature delivery from months to weeks.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Define the product strategy for AI-native development tools and agentic systems that serve every Ads engineer
Partner with executive stakeholders across 5+ organizations to drive adoption and secure investment from partner teams
Collaborate with engineering to shape agent capabilities across three phases: Ideation (discovery and design), Construction (parallel development), and Operation (deploy and monitor)
Define success metrics, measure productivity impact, and communicate progress to senior leadership
Identify customer pain points through data analysis of delivery timelines, coordination overhead, and builder workflows
Drive prioritization across a portfolio spanning builder tooling, agent infrastructure, and cross-team orchestration
You are a builder who thinks big, works backwards from the engineer experience, and can translate ambiguous vision into concrete product requirements. You thrive in fast-moving environments where the product category is being invented.
