Key job responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional internal stakeholders to design studies and communicate market realities regarding the economics of running IT applications and infrastructures in the cloud when compared to a traditional data center environment.
- Develop and conduct new benchmarking studies to help customers understand the financial and operational benefits of the cloud.
- Own the entire benchmarking study process and relationship with external vendors. Including creating RFPs, and evaluating, selecting and managing vendors.
- Develop and execute go to market and scaling mechanisms for new studies
- Design and manage program impact tracking metrics for management reporting.
About the team
The AWS Cloud Economics Scale team builds tools, IP, and methodology to help customers identify and quantify value creation opportunities at each stage of their journey to the cloud. We engage directly and collaboratively with customers and internal AWS teams to deliver cloud value expertise. The Cloud Economics Scale team helps answer the question: "What value can I expect to achieve by using AWS?"
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
