Technology Support Engineer

Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary: As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting processes. Collaboration with vendors and service management teams is essential to analyze issues and implement effective solutions, ensuring continuous system reliability and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation and updating of operational procedures to improve team efficiency. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the role. - Support cross-functional teams by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall service delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Commvault Backup Administration. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with VMWare Cloud Administration, AWS Administration, Terraform (Software). - Strong understanding of backup and recovery processes and best practices. - Experience in monitoring and maintaining backup infrastructure to ensure data integrity and availability. - Ability to troubleshoot complex backup and restore issues across diverse environments. - Familiarity with automation and scripting to optimize backup operations and reporting. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Commvault Backup Administration. - This position is based at our Manila office. - Education: with Nutanix experience. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
