You’ll operate within a sophisticated performance environment spanning a complex, multi-stage commercial funnel, data privacy requirements, app acquisition and CRM-triggered lifecycle programs. You’ll also lead a specialist team with access to AI-assisted optimisation tools, measurement infrastructure and global technology partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

- Set and enforce in-flight optimisation standards across bid management, budget pacing, audience refinement, creative rotation, quality scores and performance reporting.
- Lead the team’s response to algorithm changes, platform updates and performance anomalies, ensuring rapid and evidence-based action.
- Manage AI-assisted bidding tools and automation frameworks, establishing strong governance and quality-control standards.
- Govern SEM activation, including scripting and automation, search impression share, quality scores, brand versus generic activity and search intent architecture.
- Evaluate the appropriate use of emerging platform capabilities and automated solutions within campaign activation.
Full-Funnel Performance Management

- Apply knowledge of app analytics to improve acquisition and conversion performance.
- Design data requirements and manage CRM-triggered performance activation, including lifecycle sequences, cross-sell, re-engagement and onboarding programs.
- Govern offline-to-online performance measurement, including the contribution of TV, out-of-home and brand activity to web traffic and conversions.
Measurement & Reporting Quality
- Govern performance measurement frameworks, including tracking infrastructure quality, attribution integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee pixels, CAPI, GA4, app measurement SDKs, tag management and UTM hygiene across biddable channels.
- Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting, translating results into clear, commercially relevant insights.
- Design and manage A/B testing, audience experiments and lift studies alongside media platform partners and senior performance leadership.
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and develop Performance Managers and Performance Executives.
- Establish clear performance standards, KPIs and development goals across the team.
- Build a culture of technical excellence, analytical precision, healthy challenge and continuous improvement.
- Lead the transition toward AI-augmented activation workflows, supported by responsible tool governance and structured development.

Strategic Responsibilities
- Identify performance-channel growth opportunities and develop recommendations for senior performance leadership.
- Contribute to the evolution of Accenture Song’s performance marketing methodology and activation playbooks.
- Participate in media platform beta programs and performance innovation testing.

- Lead performance-focused client engagements, including campaign debriefs, optimisation discussions and regular performance reviews.
- Present performance results with commercial clarity, translating channel metrics into business-relevant language.
- Build trusted day-to-day relationships with client digital, acquisition and CRM teams.
- Proactively identify insights and opportunities within campaign data and escalate broader strategic recommendations where appropriate.
