Job Description:
The role
As a Product Manager within Core Experiences, you will help define and deliver experiences that serve millions of customers and facilitate the secure movement of billions of dollars each year, directly influencing how customers start, fund, and grow their relationship with Fidelity. You will join a highly collaborative product organization responsible for solving complex customer problems while balancing business objectives, operational excellence, risk management, and platform modernization. Candidates must be able to leverage data to inform decisions, synthesize and clearly communicate insights, and apply a customer-first mindset with ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning to deliver impactful results.
Product Discovery, Research & Opportunity Assessment
- Lead discovery efforts across web and native digital experiences to identify customer needs, business opportunities, and emerging market trends.
- Establish repeatable frameworks for idea evaluation, opportunity sizing, hypothesis validation, and investment recommendations.
- Maintain a strategic backlog of product opportunities informed by customer insights, data analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop approved ideas into briefs with key problem statements backed by learning agenda and customer use cases.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership
- Own the strategic product roadmap, aligning customer needs, business priorities, and technology investments.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and facilitate prioritization decisions, balancing customer value, business impact, and feasibility.
- Develop the processes, governance, and artifacts that enable effective roadmap planning and portfolio management.
Cross-Functional Influence & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to uncover trends, validate opportunities, and build compelling business cases.
- Act as a connector across the organization, synthesizing insights from Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Influence stakeholders and senior leaders through strong communication, negotiation, and evidence-based recommendations.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 8+ years of Product Management experience.
- Significant experience leading product discovery, strategic planning, or innovation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success shaping digital products across both web and native mobile experiences
- Strong knowledge of product discovery methodologies, customer research techniques (journey mapping), and opportunity assessment frameworks.
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and influence executive-level decisions.
- Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
