Job Description:

The Role 


As key members of the Wealth Management and Advisory team we are responsible for partnering with distribution partners to develop, implement and support the diverse set of investment solutions to Fidelity Institutional intermediary clients. We are fortunate to contribute to Fidelity’s rapidly growing advice business and capabilities with focus on advice solutions offered to advisors, home offices, and family offices through managed offerings including model portfolios, separately managed accounts, unified managed accounts and technology capabilities and tools. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and management of Fidelity’s FMAX platform. 

The Manager, Managed Platform Product Manager will support the implementation and ongoing support of Fidelity Institutional’s FMAX offerings with the following core responsibilities.

 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring  

  

  • Support day-to-day product management activities for the FMAX platform and related managed account solutions
  • Assist in triaging and responding to inquiries related to managed platforms via email and collaboration tools
  • Contribute to product development efforts by helping gather requirements, document workflows, and support testing activities
  • Perform data collection and basic analysis to identify trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for product or process improvements
  • Partner with internal teams (technology, operations, distribution, and service) to help resolve client experience issues and operational questions
  • Support product lifecycle processes, including documentation, release coordination, and post-launch monitoring
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal stakeholders, including product updates, presentations, and reporting
  • Help gather feedback from distribution partners and internal teams to inform product improvements
  • Develop foundational knowledge of managed accounts, platform capabilities, and industry trends 
  • BS degree required.  
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial services, product support, operations, consulting, or related roles
  • Interest in investment products, managed accounts, and wealth management platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with experience working with data (Excel or similar tools preferred)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Basic understanding of financial markets, investment products, or brokerage services is a plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams)

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
