As part of the Corporate Functions, Marketing & Communications team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; people engagement; marketing research; media relations; corporate and financial communications; digital marketing; talent brand marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

 

We are looking for a strategic, action-oriented communications professional to shape the global media narrative for Accenture Cybersecurity at a time when AI-driven threats, cyber resilience, critical infrastructure protection and secure digital transformation are defining the next era of business risk. This experienced professional will develop and lead integrated media strategies that position Accenture as a trusted cybersecurity leader and translate complex technical issues into clear, compelling stories. They will also support executive leadership, major announcements, ecosystem partnerships and priority growth initiatives across Accenture’s global Cybersecurity business.

 

What You'll Do

  • Build Accenture Cybersecurity’s global media presence
  • Develop and lead proactive global earned media strategies that strengthen awareness and visibility of Accenture as a leader in cybersecurity, with a focus on priority geographies, industries and growth initiatives.
  • Shape differentiated media narratives that connect Accenture Cybersecurity’s capabilities to the issues clients and journalists care about most, with a focus on priority business areas including Secure AI, Identity & Trust, Cyber Resilience & Defense and Operational Technology Security.
  • Advise executive stakeholders and lead high-priority media moments
  • Advise senior Cybersecurity stakeholders on media strategy, messaging, executive visibility and external positioning for high-priority business moments.
  • Lead communications strategy and media execution for major announcements, acquisitions, ecosystem partnerships, research launches and industry events.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity, technology and business issues into clear, compelling media materials, including message development, news releases, Q&As, talking points, pitches and executive briefing materials.
  • Integrate communications across teams, manage issues and measure impact
  • Partner with marketing, research, social, analyst relations, internal communications and business teams to ensure external media programs are integrated, insight-led and aligned with Accenture’s global brand and business priorities.
  • Manage media issues, reputational risk and fast-moving inquiries with sound judgment, strong stakeholder alignment and clear, timely responses.
  • Use media analytics, message pull-through and executive visibility metrics to evaluate impact and refine strategy.
  • Lead people and agency partners
  • Lead, coach and develop a direct report, providing clear direction, feedback and opportunities to grow.
  • Manage PR agency partners to deliver high-quality, creative media programs that support business priorities and strengthen Accenture Cybersecurity’s market visibility.

 

  • Travel Expectations: Travel nationally as required.

  • Broad understanding and skills in strategic marketing and communications, especially in area of specialization or crossing more than one functional/technical area.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-value relationships with Tier One business and industry media
  • Ability to create compelling messaging and differentiated positioning to set Accenture apart from competitors
  • Strong, budget management and financial reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for creating and executing programs that are of the highest quality, fully supporting Accenture’s business strategy and that are in line with or exceed leadership expectations.
  • Superb diplomacy skills to navigate complex ecosystem relationships. Strong negotiation and conflict-management skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to influence the highest levels of leadership within Accenture’s large, matrixed organization through relationship-building and strong executive-level presence.
  • Broad overall business acumen and knowledge of Accenture’s areas of business.
  • Strong teaming skills—ability to work autonomously and independently yet integrate appropriately with Marketing & Communications colleagues in other business areas geographies, and across Corporate Communications.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and social media preferred.
