The Worldwide Sustainability Regulatory Reporting team is looking for a detail focused, results-oriented and collaborative individual to support Amazon’s global sustainability disclosure processes. Your work will help scale Amazon’s regulatory reporting infrastructure and deliver high‑quality sustainability disclosures by partnering cross‑functionally to understand Amazon’s environmental programs and key metrics.
You will be responsible for preparing for compliance with climate-related reporting under emerging regulations, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and required reporting based on the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) frameworks, and delivering Amazon’s regulatory reports in a rapidly evolving global environment. This will involve establishing external reporting processes, assessing and collecting key metrics from partner teams, resolving reporting decisions, and drafting disclosures. You will work cross-functionally with Worldwide Sustainability, Legal, Finance, and Accounting and will present results to senior leadership.
To do well in this role, you must be able to confidently handle complex projects and provide a point of view in situations of high ambiguity. You must also show good judgment to continually improve Amazon’s business model to develop robust and integrated reporting efforts and enhance emerging sustainability reporting best practices.

Ensure disclosures meet external assurance standards and provide stakeholders with clear explanations of the criteria and methodologies used to calculate key metrics (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, GHG mitigation and carbon credits, and climate risk assessment results).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
