Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that the software solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective application functionalities. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer works through different phases of application development, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure alignment of application design with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to streamline project workflows and resolve inter-team challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Governance.
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and compliance requirements related to data management.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies for data security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze complex data environments and recommend governance strategies that support business objectives.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms that support data cataloging, metadata management, and data stewardship.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance practices are integrated into software development processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
