This is what you will do:
The Regional Account Manager will develop commercial relationships with hospital opinion leaders and decision makers in order to maximise access to products within key accounts/hospitals identified in the region.
You will be responsible for:
Leadership position
- Provide scientific/medical information to opinion leaders and decision makers.
- Implement Alexion commercial strategy within targeted key accounts/hospitals and achieve commercial goals.
- Identify and communicate to Alexion the environment and requirements of the key accounts.
- Build a solid network of effective and trustful relationships with key accounts, hospitals, decision makers and influencers.
- Implement educational and disease awareness plans in accordance with written guidelines, approved resources and tools.
- Secure access for all appropriate patients.
- Organize staff meetings in hospitals, when appropriate, with the support of the Medical Department.
- Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Timely feeding of CRM systems and business reporting.
- Collect and communicate pharmacovigilance information according to company procedures.
Support function
- Share all relevant information with the Alexion country team.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs and Market Access.
- Contribute to the development of country commercial and marketing strategies.
- Be aware of and report healthcare policy changes and their impact on Alexion's business.
- Prepare and conduct educational and promotional presentations for healthcare stakeholders.
