Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team that spans engineering and science, turning allocation, opportunity-cost, and personalization models into the production systems that run Homepage.
- Replace manual curation with intelligent systems, owning the roadmap for automation, campaign management, and content quality (including the Campaign Hub and override management).
- Own the hard technical decisions for services that serve hundreds of millions of customers under tight latency and high traffic.
- Grow the team and the partnerships, recruiting engineers and scientists who work at the intersection of production systems and science, and aligning stakeholders across Stores, Ads, Devices, and Prime Video who compete for Homepage space.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
