Summary
Apple Services brings together some of the world’s most popular digital products, from streaming and news to payments, cloud, and more, reaching hundreds of millions of people around the globe. The Services Marketing team drives awareness, engagement, and growth across these product lines, connecting people with experiences that enrich their daily lives.
This role owns the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) roadmap and program for Apple Services while sustaining and advancing organic search performance across multiple business units. The work spans traditional search engines and the emerging AI-driven discovery landscape, requiring someone who can set strategy, drive execution cross-functionally, and translate shifting search and AI trends into measurable growth.
Description
Day to day, this role involves building and managing the GEO program from roadmap through execution, defining priorities, aligning stakeholders across business lines, and keeping cross-channel efforts moving forward. The work blends strategic planning (where should we show up, and why) with hands-on optimization across AI answer engines, traditional search, and third-party surfaces like Reddit, YouTube, and editorial publications. Close collaboration with content, marketing, and analytics is essential to inform strategy, measure impact, and iterate quickly. Some technical SEO work is involved, including structured data, content formatting for AI ingestion, and site performance considerations.
Responsibilities
Define and own the GEO roadmap and program, setting priorities across AI answer engines (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others) and traditional organic search.
Drive cross-channel GEO execution across Reddit, YouTube, and third-party editorial surfaces, coordinating with internal teams to maintain momentum.
Develop and refine SEO strategy across multiple Services product lines, identifying high-impact content and optimization opportunities.
Partner with Content teams to shape organic-first content workflows, editorial standards, and production priorities.
Collaborate with Analytics to establish GEO and SEO measurement frameworks, track performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Align business line stakeholders on organic growth priorities, serving as the subject-matter authority on search and AI discoverability trends.
Manage technical SEO fundamentals: structured data, content formatting, crawlability, and page performance, in coordination with web and engineering partners.
Monitor the evolving search and AI landscape, proactively adapting strategy as platforms and algorithms change.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or scaling a GEO or AI search visibility program (e.g., optimizing for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar AI-driven discovery surfaces).
Experience driving organic growth in a B2C or subscription-based services environment.
Strong analytical ability, including experience pulling and interpreting organic performance data to diagnose trends and size opportunities.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with content, analytics, and product marketing teams to align organic strategy with business goals.
Familiarity with technical SEO concepts including: crawlability, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, and content formatting for AI ingestion.
Understanding of organic presence across third-party surfaces such as Reddit, YouTube, and editorial/review sites.
