Summary
Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Together we craft products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined - and now can't imagine living without. If you're excited by the idea of making a real impact, and joining a team where we pride ourselves in being one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world, a career with Apple might be your dream job!
Apple is looking for a world-class Product Manager to join our department - Data Solutions & Initiatives (DSI). This is an opportunity to lead our most executive-visible AI-powered products - including an executive reporting workbench used by senior leadership to start their day, and a natural-language product that lets leadership query the state of the business directly - and take ownership of our broader executive reporting and BI portfolio. You'll be building tools that empower Senior Executive stakeholders, up to VP and executive level, to make faster, better-informed decisions.
In this role, you will drive the strategic vision for these products, partnering with engineering, data, design, and our AI platform team to deliver insights that matter. You'll work directly with executives across the organization, from VP to executive level, to define and execute a multi-year product roadmap, with an explicit path to taking over full ownership.
Description
We are looking for a Product Manager who has the right mix of technical, communication, and business skills to lead and deliver strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development, launch, and evolution of executive reporting and BI products, powering strategic decision-making for senior leadership
- Serve as the direct, primary product point of contact for VP- and executive-level stakeholders, translating ambiguous and evolving executive needs into clear product direction
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, including roadmapping, feature definition, and go-live strategy
- Champion experimentation with AI-driven capabilities, bringing a hands-on builder's mindset rather than waiting for proven patterns to emerge elsewhere
- Evangelize the product vision across the department and cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, building long-lasting relationships with both
- Collaborate with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality products are delivered on time
- Analyze and research business and usage data to propose and design solutions in collaboration with Engineering, Data, and Design partners
- Work in an agile team with a hands-on approach
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with executive reporting, forecasting, or BI dashboard products specifically
Proven track record of managing product development lifecycles, building complex products with cross-functional partners including engineering, design, and business stakeholders
5+ years in a role demanding executive-facing judgment and ownership of outcomes - this may include product management, strategy/management consulting with real ownership rather than purely advisory work, or an early or founding product role at a start
Direct, independent experience owning an ongoing relationship with a VP or executive-level stakeholder, without that relationship being brokered by someone else
Demonstrated ability to sit with ambiguous, evolving executive requests and translate them into clear product requirements and team direction
Comfort working with complex data and a solid understanding of analytics/BI concepts & SQL knowledge or hands-on experience with data analysis/query tools (e.g., Trino, Dremio)
Ability to work effectively with engineering teams building AI/agent-powered features and data-pipeline-driven reporting — comfortable in technical conversations without needing to be the one writing the code
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill technical and data complexity for senior leadership on short notice
Ability to travel internationally as needed
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing) or a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Applied Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience applying data analytics in Finance, Sales Operations, or Demand Management
Direct experience building or shipping AI/LLM-powered product features, with a background of working with data science or AI platform teams to deliver intelligent features
Comfortable prototyping and iterating through imperfect early AI behavior
Familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau or equivalent)
Understanding of data products and pipelines, APIs, and system integrations
Experience operating with high autonomy within a small team, — demonstrating willingness to independently write specifications, retrieve data, or perform quality assurance when assistance is unavailable
Master’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing) or a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Applied Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience
