We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our US Wealth team as an RIA, Associate Regional Consultant covering Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Bank Trust organizations across the territory. The RIA Associate Regional Consultant will partner with financial advisors and key decision‑makers to drive business development, product placement, and sales activation. The role serves as a trusted advisor and represents the US Wealth team’s distribution efforts throughout the territory.

This hybrid position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and requires employees to work from the office 4 days per week. The role includes approximately 30-35% travel within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • In partnership with External Regional Consultants and Internal Sales Consultants in US Wealth, own and grow key client and strategic partner relationships with RIAs and Bank Trust firms across the territory.
  • Identify client needs across a range of business models and deliver relevant market insights, product information, investment ideas, and sales support.
  • Demonstrate strong investment acumen and act as an expert on State Street Investment Management solutions, including ETFs, model portfolios, direct indexing, cash strategies and DC solutions.
  • Educate clients and prospects on product positioning, holdings, and investment results, and clearly articulate what differentiates State Street Investment Management from competitors.
  • Drive net new assets (NNA) and net new revenue (NNR) by cultivating new relationships and deepening engagement with existing partners across concentrated areas of wealth.
  • Lead and coordinate regional travel with key sub‑advisory partners and index providers, including Apollo, Bridgewater Associates, DoubleLine Capital, Blackstone, World Gold Council, and Galaxy Asset Management.
  • Leverage centers of influence across the RIA ecosystem, including custodians, TAMPs, and wealth management platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, including Internal Sales, Marketing, Research, and Client Enablement teams, to effectively deliver SSIM resources.
  • Collaborate with key internal teams including Internal Sales, Marketing, Research, and Client Enablement teams to deliver value-added resources and insights to clients.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of State Street Investment Management’s strategy and priorities across the territory.
  • Mentor and support internal team members, contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing culture.
  • Demonstrate risk excellence and uphold the highest ethical standards in all client and internal interactions.
  • Pursue continuous improvement by refining sales skills and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63 license required (must be obtained by start date)
  • 3-5 years of investment experience is preferred; ideally within the RIA channel.
  • Strong investment acumen and technical proficiency across ETFs, mutual funds, SMAs, and model portfolios
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, and execute with precision
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and a results-driven mindset
  • CFA or CIMA preferred

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $130,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
