Who we are looking for?

We are seeking a technically strong operations professional to translate the future-state service into clear requirements, partner with FRS through development, lead rigorous testing, and support the solution in production. This is not a testing coordinator role. The successful candidate will understand the end-to-end workflow, challenge the design, create and execute tests, use automation and AI where practical, diagnose failures, and remain accountable for technology-enabled service delivery after launch.

What You Will Own

Requirements and FRS Partnership

  • Translate the agreed operating model, controls, data needs, exception paths, and service outcomes into complete and testable business requirements.

  • Partner closely with FRS to clarify requirements, review and approve user stories, resolve design questions, and ensure delivered functionality supports the full operational model.

  • Maintain traceability across requirements, user stories, process flows, controls, test cases, defects, and readiness evidence.

  • Challenge designs that create unnecessary manual work, weak controls, limited observability, or poor supportability.

Hands-On Testing and Quality

  • Create a risk-based test strategy and detailed test cases covering normal processing, exceptions, negative scenarios, controls, interfaces, data quality, volumes, recovery, and contingency paths.

  • Execute UAT directly and coordinate regression, integration, end-to-end, and client testing with upstream and downstream teams.

  • Use scripts, reusable datasets, AI, and automated testing wherever practical to improve coverage, repeatability, evidence, and speed.

  • Document defects clearly, perform initial diagnosis, prioritize by service and control impact, retest fixes, and drive issues to verified closure.

  • Produce transparent test results and recommend whether the solution is ready to progress.

Implementation and Production Support

  • Validate production setup, monitoring, alerts, access, support ownership, runbooks, data flows, interfaces, and recovery procedures before launch.

  • Support model office, production parallel, cutover, go-live, and stabilization, including rapid diagnosis and coordination of production issues.

  • Ensure operational teams can identify when automated processing is incomplete or incorrect and have clear paths to investigate, recover, and escalate.

BAU Technology-Enabled Service Delivery

  • Oversee the health and effectiveness of the automated service, including interfaces, exceptions, recurring defects, control results, and operational workarounds.

  • Partner with Operations, FRS, Product, and Technology to resolve root causes and prioritize enhancements based on client, risk, control, and efficiency impact.

  • Maintain regression assets and readiness documentation as functionality changes and new clients are onboarded.

  • Identify opportunities to improve observability, straight-through processing, automated controls, testing efficiency, and service resilience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Requirements are complete and testable, and delivered functionality matches the approved operating and control model.

  • Testing provides credible evidence across end-to-end processing, exceptions, interfaces, controls, and recovery scenarios.

  • Production issues are diagnosed quickly, recurring failures are addressed at root cause, and the automated service becomes more resilient over time.

Required Experience and Capabilities

  • Fund operations experience combined with strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex end-to-end data and processing flows.

  • Hands-on experience writing requirements and test cases, executing UAT, managing defects, and supporting production implementation or stabilization.

  • Ability to review user stories and technology designs critically and translate operational needs into specific, testable outcomes.

  • Experience working across integrated platforms, upstream and downstream teams, and exception-driven operating processes.

  • Strong problem solving, precision, curiosity, ownership, and ability to work effectively as requirements and technology evolve.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with  fund recordkeeping technology, workflow tools, interfaces, or automated transaction processing.

  • Knowledge of data analysis, production monitoring, incident triage, service management, and technology control practices.
