Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. Sr. Program Manager of Marketing Systems leads the operational execution, management, and governance of the critical digital frameworks and initiatives that define Interactive’s global presence. This role is a strategic lead accountable for ensuring that complex digital programs, ranging from design systems to marketing platform optimizations, are delivered with operational rigor and measurable outcomes, while partnering closely with engineering to deliver scalable, performant solutions.

Description

The role serves as a primary connective node between Design, Engineering, and Product, driving shared accountability, removing systemic blockers, and ensuring cross-functional alignment at every stage of delivery. This includes partnering across product management and engineering to ensure business needs are met, from operational Worldwide (WW) workflow definition and optimization, to contributing into measurement frameworks that track go-to-market (GTM) velocity and program impact. The role operates with discretion, managing large-scale initiatives and regularly engaging senior leadership to drive the evolution of digital transformation.

This role drives the programmatic delivery and governance of marketing systems and digital frameworks that power Interactive’s global web presence, serving as the operational bridge between Design, Engineering, and Product to ensure complex initiatives ship with quality, scalability, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Lead the translation of creative and business intent into operational roadmaps that preserve quality standards while enabling multi-platform global reuse across Interactive’s portfolio.
Own the programmatic readiness, rollout sequencing, and cross-team coordination required to deploy the Unified Design System (UDS) into production workflows at scale.
Establish and refine fiscal year and quarterly roadmaps aligned with Marcom Interactive priorities, driving delivery, quality, and timeline outcomes across multiple concurrent work tracks.
Partner with Engineering and Product Management to translate business requirements into platform capabilities, including workflow optimization, measurement instrumentation, and go-to-market velocity tracking.
Define and maintain the operational cadence, including stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and milestone reviews; ensuring consistency and accountability across all work-streams.
Identify and eliminate recurring process bottlenecks through root-cause analysis, implementing systemic fixes rather than one-off workarounds.
Facilitate trade-offs between bespoke creative expression and scalable system reuse, guiding teams toward decisions that balance creative excellence with operational efficiency.
Engage regularly with senior leadership across Experiences, Communications, and Engineering to drive alignment, report on program health, and course-correct as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of program management experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or web platform delivery, with a track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Engineering and Product teams to define requirements, align on roadmaps, and co-own delivery milestones.
Experience establishing and running operational frameworks — including planning cadences, RACI models, escalation paths, and milestone governance — across multiple concurrent work-streams.
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment among senior stakeholders with competing priorities, particularly at the intersection of creative, technical, and business objectives.
Experience with design system adoption, marketing platform rollouts, or similar systems-level programs that require coordinated change management across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Background working with or alongside design systems teams (contribution models, governance, adoption metrics).
Experience in a marketing organization at a consumer technology company, with familiarity in how global web content is produced, localized, and published at scale.
Familiarity with content management platforms, front-end frameworks, or marketing technology stacks, enough to engage credibly with engineering partners on technical trade-offs.
Experience defining or contributing to measurement frameworks that track operational health, go-to-market velocity, or program impact.
Exposure to Agile, Lean, or similar delivery methodologies applied in creative or marketing contexts (not just software development).
Experience managing programs that span both internal teams and external agency partners.
PMP, PMP2, or equivalent program management certification.
