Summary:
As a Network Systems Engineer, you support the operation, implementation, and improvement
of enterprise network services across warehouses, distribution centers, and office locations. You
work with LAN, WiFi, IPsec VPN, and Network Access Control solutions, help resolve incidents,
support rollouts and changes, and contribute to stable and secure network operations in a
global environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Network Operations & Engineering
Support the operation and improvement of enterprise WiFi services across warehouse and
office locations.
Support and troubleshoot IPsec VPN connections to external partners and customers,
including routing and NAT topics.
Assist with the rollout of centralized configuration and update management for branch
office LAN environments.
Support the implementation and daily operation of Network Access Control based on
802.1X together with local IT teams.
Lifecycle & Change Management
Plan, test, and deploy firmware and configuration updates for WiFi and LAN hardware
following standard change processes.
Maintain technical documentation such as implementation standard operating procedures,
and troubleshooting guides.
Escalation & Collaboration
Analyze and resolve LAN, WiFi, IPsec, and NAC incidents, escalating complex topics when
required to the vendor support
Work with security, infrastructure, local IT, and external provider teams to support reliable
network services.
Participate in an on-call rotation for business-critical network services.
Professional & Technical Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking or network provider operations
Expert-level knowledge of LAN and WiFi technologies, including switching, VLANs, wireless
troubleshooting, routing and site connectivity
Experience with IPsec VPN configuration and troubleshooting, preferably on Cisco Firepower
or Cisco ASA platforms
