A skilled VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and optimize private/hybrid cloud environments using VMware s integrated SDDC stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize/Aria suite). The role involves automation, infrastructure lifecycle management, and ensuring high availability and performance of cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Deployment & Configuration
Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
Install and manage components:
vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
vSAN (storage virtualization)
NSX-T (network virtualization)
SDDC Manager
2. Infrastructure Management
Monitor and maintain virtual infrastructure health.
Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management via SDDC Manager.
Manage clusters, resource pools, and virtual machines.
Implement high availability (HA), DRS, and fault tolerance.
3. Networking (NSX-T)
Configure logical networking (segments, gateways).
Implement load balancing, VPN, firewall rules.
Manage micro-segmentation and network security policies.
4. Storage Management
Configure and manage vSAN clusters.
Monitor performance, capacity, and storage policies.
Troubleshoot storage-related issues.
5. Automation & Orchestration
Automate workflows using:
PowerCLI / PowerShell
Python
VMware Aria Automation (vRealize Automation)
6. Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Use tools like:
VMware Aria Operations (vRealize Operations)
Log Insight
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, network, and performance issues.
7.VMWare SRM
VMware SRM Engineer / Disaster Recovery Specialist to design, implement, and manage disaster recovery solutions using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
The role involves ensuring business continuity by automating failover and failback processes across data centers or hybrid cloud environments.
