Visit us at www.accenture.com.You will be a core member of Accenture Operations global Applied Intelligence team to innovate and transform the Accenture Operations business using machine learning, advanced analytics and data-driven AI. You will have the unique opportunity to be exposed to a wide diversity of exciting business problems and data and create machine learning methods and data-driven AI solutions to deliver the next-generation Accenture Operations offerings. Data Scientists in Operations follow multiple approaches for project execution from adapting existing assets to Operations use cases, exploring third-party and open source solutions for speed to execution and for specific use cases to engaging in fundamental research to develop novel solutions. They also leverage the vast global network of Accenture to collaborate with Accenture Tech Labs, Accenture Open Innovation and Accenture Analytics for creating solutions. Data Scientists are expected to collaborate with other data scientists, subject matter experts, sales, and delivery teams from Accenture locations around the globe to deliver strategic advanced machine learning / data-AI solutions from design to deployment.
What are we looking for? • 7 - 11 years of data science experience • Experience leading or collaborating with a team of data scientists in developing and delivering advanced analytics statistical models, machine learning, Agentic models that work in a production setting • Familiarity with relational databases and intermediate or advanced level knowledge of SQL • Experience in any of the business domains: CPG, Retail, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Health, Supply Chain, Banking, Financial Services, Infrastructure Services, Security • Strong statistical programming experience - Python, R • Solid knowledge in at least one of the following – Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Classification, Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks, Ensemble Modelling (random forest, boosted tree, etc), Multivariate Statistics, Non-parametric Methods, Reliability Models, Markov Models, Stochastic models, Bayesian Models • Development experience working under various Data environments e.g. Snowflake, Azure, GCP • Knowledge of Agentic capabilities • Extensive experience in leading Data Science and Advanced Analytics delivery team • Extensive experience in client engagement and business development • Job location: Mumbai/Bangalore/NCR • Education: Bachelors / Masters / Ph.D. Computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related disciplines • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
Roles and Responsibilities: • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads • Generally, interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams • Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
