DESCRIPTION:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Commercial Product Manager, driving customer adoption, demand generation, and portfolio growth across Southeast Asia.

You will combine scientific expertise, customer insight, market knowledge, and product management skills to develop effective go-to-market strategies and strengthen portfolio performance.

You will work with customers, country sales teams, distributors, marketing, technical support, service, and business-unit partners to help customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop go-to-market strategies for assigned product portfolios.

• Understand markets, customers, workflows, applications, and buying processes.

• Conduct customer visits and identify market and growth opportunities.

• Build strategic accounts and support qualified pipeline development.

• Drive customer awareness through campaigns, events, seminars, and demonstrations.

• Support tenders, workflow solutions, and new-product adoption.

• Analyze competitors, pricing, positioning, applications, and market trends.

• Provide sales tools, training, battlecards, and customer-facing materials.

• Recommend portfolio, pricing, promotion, and channel actions.

• Partner with country sales teams to improve pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, pricing effectiveness, and opportunity win rates.

• Contribute to revenue and bookings planning for assigned product portfolios.

• Support product launches, lifecycle management, and portfolio prioritization.

• Resolve commercial, technical, supply, documentation, and customer-experience gaps.

Requirements

Degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or life sciences industry

• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering or related discipline

• Strong knowledge of laboratory products, applications, and workflows

• Experience in product management, technical sales, or commercial marketing.

• Strong customer engagement and market-development skills.
