NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead a team developing the NVLINK Switches and GPUs over firmware in PHY connectivity layer. In this role you will be playing a critical role in development and verification aspects in our firmware and software layers, which are critical to NVIDIA's next generation networking technologies, and enable large-scale deployment in High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers. What you'll be doing:
Managing and leading a high impact team for development and verification processes over software and firmware layers
Serving as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customers
leading the investigating issues in customer setups and support new system bringup processes with our NVLINK technology
Owning development of major features end-to-end
Being actively hands-on (50%) in OS software coding and debugging
Collaborating with off-shore teams
What we need to see:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent experience
8+ overall years of overall technical experience; 3+ years of experience managing a team
Python/C/C++ programming skills
Experience leading teams in developing software/firmware, and mentoring
Ability to self-teach and to learn quickly
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Linux & Networking experience
Working face to face with customers
Master’s degree or equivalent experience .
Excellent social and written communication skills
Building AI flows, agents, for enhancing the development efficiency

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 3, and 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD for Level 4.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
