The Apps team is in search of a high-energy and ambitious Engineering Project Manager. Description
As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the rare and rewarding opportunity to ship upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for social engineering, managing priorities, and communicating progress.
Responsibilities
Drive and ship large, multi-functional software development initiatives to support applications.
Thoroughly understand software development, qualification, build, and integration processes with a deep understanding of how to build frameworks.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, QA, Build, and Integration and cross-functionally with various organizations to build, manage, and track deliverables.
Hands-on with product details and requirements, innovate and strategize new features, and build relationships to achieve results.
Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features, including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments.
Optimize processes on how features are built and executed.
Ability to work on cross-functional projects with multi-functional schedules across the Apple ecosystem.
Understand and work on projects with multi-functional schedules, across Software Engineering and other Apple groups.
Build relationships to achieve results.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of Engineering Project Management experience, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.
Project management experience focused on the development of enterprise applications.
Experience managing projects using Agile software development methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Genuine enthusiasm for technical challenges and a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships across diverse teams to navigate delivery dependencies.
Versatile problem solver with a strong analytical approach to complex environments; adept at deconstructing problems, resolving conflicts, and leading teams to solutions.
Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience at the right time.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements, multiple concurrent programs, and fast-moving technology landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
PMP certification or equivalent formal project management credential.
Experience working within large-scale, ecosystem-level software environments.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
