Summary

The Creator Studio team is seeking a talented designer to help create the future of Video Applications at Apple. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who will create tools that enable editors and filmmakers to realize their creative vision, whether they’re making an online video or working on major pictures – and everything in between. Through thoughtful experience design, graceful interaction design, and nuanced visual design, you’ll craft powerful tools that people around the world rely on to create powerful videos of all kinds. You’ll define innovative new features and products; collaborate closely with dedicated, focused teams; and draw on your robust expertise to deliver sophisticated, amazing experiences for Apple customers. If you enjoy helping people create meaningful videos and tell great stories, this may be the job for you.

Description

At Apple, we work every day to create powerful, delightful tools that enrich people's lives. We love working on problems no one else has solved, and we judge our success from our users' perspective.

The Video Applications team creates software that empowers the creativity of millions of people, on all Apple platforms. It’s immensely gratifying, and it requires a special kind of designer. Y ou must be innately collaborative, a rigorous critical thinker, and a self-starter who thrives in an execution-oriented environment. Y ou’re a quick study and a creative, smart risk taker who

You’re patient and focused under scrutiny (when you’re in a tight spot) and adept at negotiation and compromise (to get you out of one). Most importantly, you love solving deep, intricate problems that challenge your abilities and reward your ingenuity.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work with world-class designers, engineers, producers, writers, and product marketing specialists within and across teams at Apple. You’ll focus on the information design, navigation models, behaviors, interactions, and visual design of our apps. This entails producing high-fidelity mockups and prototypes; delivering detailed, comprehensive
UX and visual specifications; and reviewing your work with teammates and leadership. Y ou’ll also advocate for users when defining new functionality; identify and articulate workflows and use cases; ensure usability across Apple platforms and devices; and test and verify the implementation of your designs. Above all, you’ll strive to create products that meet Apple’s
high standards for simplicity, accessibility, inclusivity, and quality.

The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they create the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Come join us!
