Position Responsibilities:
Leads and executes large-scale research, technical development, or product development projects or a subfunction of a project, creates requirements, plan activities and owns deliverables
Leads minor core teams, contributes to technical road mapping, identifies/initiates/owns creative solutions at departmental level and represents the function in a core team or research team
Submits invention disclosures or innovative ideas for technology, processes and products
Mentors peers and supporting scientists, engineers on technical skills in one's area of expertise

Position Requirements:
Expert within own discipline with deep experience from multiple product cycles; advanced mastery of relevant areas
Significant expertise in their field and a breadth of knowledge across several areas outside their technical field and throughout the Biotech industry
Strong project prioritization and leadership abilities to plan, organize and delegate tasks effectively
Ability to influence decisions that impact technology, processes and products
Productive and effective written and verbal communication of observations and technical findings and progress required; ability to communicate risk and recommendations to multi-disciplinary team; ability to manage technical confrontation is required

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
