This role will be based in Bangalore, India.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

 
Responsibilities

• You will own the full stack development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.

• You will implement cutting-edge technologies and write state-of-the-art code that keeps LinkedIn at the forefront of innovation.

• Your specific expertise will be required to make the site delightful, secure, performant and accessible to all our members and customers.

• You will review others' work and share knowledge.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing backend services in Java and web development experience with object-oriented JavaScript, semantic HTML, CSS.

• Extensive programming experience in modern JavaScript / TypeScript / similar languages; frameworks such as EmberJS / React / similar and building APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing multi-tier scalable and user-centric reliable applications that operate 24x7

• Deep foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• Knowledge of UI and API frameworks and MVP application design
